Slitting and Cut To Length Line

Cut to length line and slitting line are widely used in metal processing center, tube mill factory. Cut to length line (CTL) is mainly used for cutting the coil to sheet in required length. Usually it consists of uncoiler/decoiler, leveling machine/straightening machine, feeding device, cut to length device, and automatic stacker. One key equipment of CTL line is the straightening machine/leveling machine, which is aim to eliminate the bending stress of the coil through multiple sets of straightening rollers to ensure the flatness of the sheet. Another core equipment is the cut to length device, which the function is to cut the plates according to set lengths by hydraulic shears, pneumatic shears or high-speed flying shears. The cutting precision could be controlled according to customer’s requirements.

CTL line will be totally customized according to customer’s requirements, the raw material could be hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, prepainted galvanized steel coil, stainless steel. There could be auxiliary equipment such as coil skid, coil car, edge cutting and scraping device, edge slitting and rewinding device, etc.

Slitting line is mainly used for slit the mother coil to small coils, composed of decoiler, leveling machine/straightening machine, guide and deviation device, slitter/slitting machine, tension control system and recoiler. One key equipment is the slitter/slitting machine/rotary shear, consisting of paired high-hardness disc blades, cuts the material to the preset width, with adjustable spacing to accommodate different specification. The slitter could be double sets which one working one serving, speed up the process when change specifications. The slitting precision could be controlled according to customer’s requirements.

Slitting line will be totally customized according to customer’s requirements, the raw material could be hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, prepainted galvanized steel coil. There could be auxiliary equipment such as coil skid, coil car, trimming device and rewinding device, etc.

Cut to length line and slitting line can also be combined in one line, usually to slit the mother coil first, then cut to length to sheets.
