Uncoiler Machine

The pneumatic motor is adopted as the power source. Compressed air drives the pneumatic motor to rotate, thereby providing power for the uncoiler and achieving the rotational movement of the drum.

- Drum mechanism: It is composed of a hollow shaft and sector plates installed on the shaft. The hollow shaft is supported on the gearbox by bearings. There are generally four sector plates, which are connected to the core shaft through the inclined dovetail grooves on the end face. They can expand and contract radially to tighten the inner hole of the steel coil, thereby achieving support and positioning of the steel coil.

- Transmission system: It includes transmission components such as gears, chains or belts. The power of the pneumatic motor is transmitted to the drum shaft through the transmission system, driving the drum to rotate and achieving the uncoiling action of the steel coil.

- Support and Guide Structures To ensure the stability of the drum and the smooth uncoiling process of the steel coil, various support and guide structures are provided. For instance, the support arm device designed at the head of the drum is driven by a cylinder. When there are steel coils on the drum, the support arm holds up the head of the drum. It also includes components such as guide rollers, which are used to guide the direction of the steel belt and prevent it from deviating.

- Control System : Mainly composed of pneumatic control valves, pressure regulating valves, sensors, etc. The control system can precisely control the rotational speed, rotation direction of the pneumatic motor and the tension force of the drum, etc., to achieve the automated operation and precise control of the uncoiler.

- Easy operation : Powered by compressed air, just connect the air source properly and operate the pneumatic control valve to achieve various actions of the uncoiling machine. The operation is simple and convenient, reducing the labor intensity of the operator.

- Safe and reliable: Compared with hydraulic uncoiling machines, pneumatic uncoiling machines do not have the problem of hydraulic oil leakage, reducing safety hazards such as fires. Meanwhile, the pneumatic system is equipped with an overload protection function. When the load is too heavy, the pneumatic motor will automatically stop running to prevent equipment damage.

- Good speed regulation performance: By adjusting the flow and pressure of the compressed air, the stepless speed regulation of the pneumatic motor can be conveniently achieved, thereby meeting the requirements of different production processes for uncoiling speed and can be well matched with subsequent processing equipment.

- Low maintenance cost: The structure of pneumatic uncoiling machines is relatively simple, without complex hydraulic and electrical systems. The wear of components is relatively small, and maintenance and upkeep work are relatively easy, resulting in lower maintenance costs.
