Pipe Bundle Packing Machine

The automatic pipe bundle packing machine fixes the stacked steel pipes in multiple ways through strapping materials such as steel straps and PET straps, preventing the pipes from scattering, shifting or being damaged during transportation and storage. It is a key equipment for the subsequent processing of steel pipes.

The equipment is mainly composed of a belt feeding mechanism (for conveying strapping bands), a tensioning mechanism (for tightening strapping bands), a heat sealing/clamping mechanism (for fixing strapping band joints), a positioning mechanism (for aligning steel pipe stack bodies) and a PLC control system (for preset parameters and automatic operation) It can be adapted to steel pipe stacks of different diameters (20mm-300mm) and lengths (6m-12m). Some models support linkage with upstream palletizing machines to achieve seamless connection of "palletizing - strapping".

1. Automatic adaptation to Stack types: Through sensors or preset parameters, it automatically identifies the width and height of the steel pipe stack, adjusts the conveying path and tightening force of the strapping tape, and ADAPTS to common stack types such as "square stack", "hexagonal stack", and "layered stack".
2. Multi-precise strapping: Supports horizontal (along the length of the steel pipe) and longitudinal (perpendicular to the length of the steel pipe) strapping. 2 to 6 strapping bands can be set (adjusted according to the size of the stack) to ensure uniform strapping and prevent local loosening.
3. Intelligent Tightening and Fixing: The tensioning mechanism can precisely control the tightening force (usually adjustable from 500N to 2000N), ensuring a firm binding while preventing the steel pipe from deforming due to excessive force. The joint is quickly fixed by heat sealing (PET tape) or snap fasteners (steel tape), and the joint has high strength and is not easy to break.
4. Self-detection and Alarm for Faults: When problems such as broken strapping bands, insufficient tension, or stack offset occur, the equipment will automatically shut down and trigger audible and visual alarms. At the same time, the cause of the fault will be displayed on the operation interface for quick troubleshooting.
5. Basic Data Recording: Through the control system, data such as the number of single batches of strapping, the consumption of strapping bands, and the operating time of the equipment are recorded. Some models can be connected to the factory MES system to achieve traceability of the production process.

• Total length: 4-12m (designed according to customer product)
• Total width: 400,430,480,500, 620mm (designed according to customer product)
• Total height: 350mm-700mm (designed according to customer product)
• Each stack is parallel to bundle 5 times. The most lateral two lanes need to add wood square.
• The sizes of the packing steel roll 32mm x 1000mm. Coil inner diameter 508mm, coil outer diameter up to 1500mm, yield strength of the film 200Mpa.
• Max qty of binding film for the pack 6000mm is 6pcs.
