High Speed Steel Saw Blade

High-speed steel saw blades are alloy steel saw blades composed of a large amount of elements such as carbon (C), tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), chromium (Cr), and vanadium (V). After heat treatment, they have high thermal hardness.

- High hardness and wear resistance: The material has a high hardness, which can maintain good hardness and stability during high-speed cutting. The oxide film on the saw blade surface can reduce wear and extend service life.
- Excellent cutting quality: The manufacturing process is meticulous, with a high surface flatness. The cut surface is smooth without burrs, and no cracks or deformations will occur, meeting the requirements of high-precision cutting.
- Repeatable grinding: The saw blade teeth can be repeatedly ground using a saw blade grinding machine. The saw blade after grinding has a sawing life similar to that of a new saw blade, which helps to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Fast cutting speed: Even at cutting temperatures above 600℃, the hardness of high-speed steel does not decrease significantly, and the cutting speed of the saw blade can reach over 60 meters per minute.

In ERW tube industry, High speed steel blade is mainly used for low carbon steel.Taking advantage of its repeatedly re-sharp, the cuting cost is quite low. Normally, high quality HSS blades are used in ERW tube line to reduce the down time.

For HSS blades, coating after teething makes it possible to cut higher tensile strength tube.And mostly it has better sawing surface than TCT blades.Special solution like this is more and more applied.
